CarbonClick looks like a green button at checkout. When a customer clicks, it adds a small contribution to their transaction, to purchase carbon offsets. These offsets balance out the carbon emissions of the purchase. CarbonClick funds forest restoration, tree planting, and renewable energy projects in NZ and around the world. - Where does CarbonClick source its ‘carbon credits' from?

CarbonClick source their carbon credits by working directly with landowners and reputable brokers who can give provide full end-to-end transparency on the forest and movement of credits. Their current provider of permanent New Zealand forestry credits is NZ Carbon Farming, who are leaders in this space.

The current project is the restoration of Arawera Forest, through re-planting of native trees to restore this native forest on land once used for farming to capture carbon and provide habitats for native wildlife.

- Can I see where my contributions go?

Yes, when you include a carbon offset with your purchase you will receive a confirmation email from CarbonClick with a unique traceability link that you can use to get the full details on your contribution including the projects it is supporting.
