Returns & Refund Policy

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION 

But First Coffee are passionate about providing the best coffee products to our customers and your satisfaction is extremely important to us. We will act in accordance with the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and the Fair Trading Act 1986.

RETURNS, CREDITS & CANCELLATIONS 

For returns, But First Coffee will need to be notified within 30 days of the date of purchase for the claim to be considered. Claims outside this time frame are unable to be accepted. 

Damaged, Faulty or Less than satisfactory:

Should your purchase reach you in a less than satisfactory state, is damaged or faulty please contact us immediately and we will take steps to resolve your issue as appropriate. In the rear event that a parcel is lost or damaged during freight, But First Coffee will work with the 3rd party Courier company and customer to resolve. Resolutions include but are not limited to replacement, repair or refund at But First Coffee's discretion. Faulty goods will be repaired or replaced as per the manufacturers or distributors warranty, up to 1 year from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.

Returns:

For returns, But First Coffee will need to be notified within 30 days of the date of purchase for the claim to be considered. Claims outside this time frame will not be accepted. 

A return will only be agreed upon by But First Coffee if the product is in original, unused condition and with unopened packaging so that it can be resold. We cannot accept goods in any state otherwise. The purchaser will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs to But First Coffee. On receipt of the returned goods they will be inspected as to whether they are in suitable condition.

If the returned goods are deemed by But First Coffee as per the above terms as unacceptable for a refund, we can either dispose of the goods or can ship back to the purchaser at their expense.

The original Shipping and Handling costs included in the purchase price are non-refundable and But First Coffee reserves the right to withhold a 10% restocking fee.

Cancellations:

Once an order has been placed it is often unable to be cancelled. If the order has already been shipped our returns policy above applies. Orders that are able to be stopped before dispatch have already incurred Shipping and Handling costs for But First Coffee. These are non-refundable and But First Coffee reserves the right to withhold a 10% restocking free.

 

REFUNDS 

If a refund of the original purchase is agreed upon at the discretion of But First Coffee this will be processed through the purchase gateway being either our website or TradeMe. But First Coffee reserves the right to deduct the original shipping cost, handling and restocking fee of 10% from any refund as these costs are non-recoverable by But First Coffee.
